SURE: Capability and Capacity Enhancement
The challenge:
Enhance the Secure Unified Research Environment (SURE) platform to improve user experience with more flexible computing resources and reduced fees
The approach:
- Consult 50 leading researchers, ethicists and data custodians and prepare a report on system requirements, use cases and capabilities
- Develop a secure sandbox to provide hassle-free researcher access to synthetic datasets
- Make file access logging available as an added security measure.
- Include support for artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in the form of graphics processing units
