Metadata Platform
The challenge:
Develop an online centralised metadata platform to help researchers quickly identify what datasets are available for linkage across Australia Align the platform with FAIR principles by minting DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for each of the administrative data collections included in the platform.
The approach:
- Develop a web-based metadata resource, which includes routinely linked administrative datasets, cohort studies and clinical registries, and presents data in a standardised format.
- Include a search, browse and filter capability, access to variable lists, data dictionary and data quality statements, FAQs and publications.
